We analyzed the history of dental student community outreach and challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, reflected upon SCOPE’s success in creating projects allowing officers to develop professionally and serve the Bay Area despite health restrictions, and formulated a strategy for the successful re-implementation of in-person community oral health events over the next year.
